Renewable energy projects, such as solar and wind farms, require polymer waterproof membranes to protect underlying components from moisture and environmental degradation. Weifang Luyang’s TPO membranes, installed beneath solar panels, prevent water ingress that could damage electrical connections. A wind farm in Germany’s North Sea coast used our membranes to waterproof its turbine foundations, resisting saltwater corrosion and wave impact. The membranes’ root-resistant properties also prevented weed growth beneath panels, reducing maintenance costs. Our R&D team collaborates with energy companies to develop custom solutions for emerging technologies like floating solar platforms.
